About Morgan Ashley
Morgan Ashley is a soulful country-pop vocalist, performer and producer who blends the styles of past and present. Morgan graduated in 2022 with a Bachelors degree in Professional Music with concentrations in performance and music production and engineering at Berklee College of Music. She is now working towards her goal of becoming a well-known recording artist and producer. Since graduating Morgan Ashley has been breaking into the New England music scene, performing at notable country venues such as Loretta's Last Call and Nash Bar and Stage, and Moonshine Alley. You can find Morgan Ashley performing somewhere most weekends.
Morgan began singing at just two years old, unafraid to share her talents with friends and family. Her mother knew instantly that she had a talent but that she also had a deep love for music. She began taking voice and piano lessons at age 4 and never looked back. Her love of being on stage was evident and at age 6 when she performed at a local 4th of July parade in front of hundreds of people. After years of hard work and performing anywhere she could, in 2018, Morgan recieved a full-tuition scholarship to Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, she found a new love for vocal production and arranging. She also started to dabble in songwriting and a few months after graduating she released her first single "2 Minutes Away".

In an exclusive interview about her single release, when asked "What feeling do you want to leave listeners with", Morgan stated "I want the listeners to feel understood when they listen to this song. Not only is it a great song to bump in the car when driving with all the windows down but it’s a heartfelt message to those you love who you aren’t with at the moment or have grown apart from. This song can be interpreted in so many different ways and that’s what I wanted when writing it. I didn’t want the listener to feel like they were listening to my experiences. I wanted them to feel how universal the experience is and how normal it is to miss those that you are apart from in whatever way that may be".
